How do I stick stud earrings on a bear as a surprise gift to my gf?

I bought stud earrings for my gf. But I was planning to put them on a teddy bear’s ears as a different way to present them as a gift. But how should I go about putting them on the bear cause they are stud earrings and I dont want to ruin them.

Try making a hole with a needle a little bit bigger than the post and sticking the earrings through there.
